Description of Hawach filter membrane:

PES Filter Membrane
Hydrophilic, for sterilization and filtration of enzymes and proteins, extraction of biological fluids, blood samples, and tissue culture, filtration and sterilization of pharmaceuticals for biological and clinical analysis.
Nylon Filter Membrane
Hydrophilic, resistant to some organic solvents, not resistant to strong acids; high protein binding capacity.
Uses: Aqueous organic mixed solution
PP(Polypropylene) Filter Membrane
Partial hydrophobicity, strong corrosion resistance, and low protein binding.
Protein recovery pre-filter and final filtration, particle chromatography low detection Level HPLC sample preparation.
Hydrophobic PTFE Filter Membrane
Resistant to organic solvents and strong acids; has low protein binding capacity;
Used for anhydrous sample filtration, corrosive solutions such as strong acid and alkali.
Hydrophilic PTFE Filter Membrane
Compared with hydrophobic PTFE, the biggest feature is that it is hydrophilic.
Highest tolerance, most recommended for aqueous organic mixed solutions.
Hydrophobic PVDF Filter Membrane
Strong tolerance, fast flow rate, low protein binding.
Protein recovery and HPLC sample preparation.
Chemical organic solution, biological solution.
Sterile MCE Gridded Membrane Filters
3.1 micron Grid;
Sterile, does not inhibit bacterial growth; high flow rate and high protein binding; obvious color contrast.
Mainly used for biological, medical, and so on.
MCE (Mixed Cellulose Ester) Filter Membrane
Hydrophilic, suitable for water-based samples;
Filtration of gas particles and bacteria;
Filtration of alcohol and particulate bacteria.
CA (Cellulose Acetate) Filter Membrane
Hydrophilic, low protein binding; limited resistance to organic solvents;
Filtration of proteins and enzymes; recovery of proteins; diagnostic cytology, biological and clinical analysis, sterilization of tissues and media.
GF (Glass Fiber) Filter Membrane
Partial hydrophobicity, coarse filter characteristics, generally used as a pre-filter material, can not filter hydrofluoric acid.
Coarse filtration processes such as pre-filtration.
