No. 2 Filter Paper

Description of No. 2 Filter Paper:

Hawach BIO 2 is equivalent to Whatman Grade 2 filter paper: No. 2 filter paper has a pore size of 8 μm, a medium flow rate, divided into round and sheet. Made of cotton linters and is a qualitative analysis filter paper.

• HAWACH BIO 2 filter paper is equivalent to Whatman Grade 2
• 8 micron filter paper has slightly stronger retention than No. 1 filter paper, but the filtration speed is relatively slow and the adsorption is stronger.
• With a particle retention capacity of 8μm, in addition to the normal filtration of 8μm-sized particles, its additional adsorption properties also come in handy, for example,  8 micron filter paper to retain soil nutrients in plant growth experiments, and to monitor special pollutants in air and soil tests.
